Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a Nurse Manager to oversee ambulatory clinical operations within the Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center. This role reports to the department chair and collaborates with the Medical Director, faculty, and staff to advance productivity, access, quality, and patient experience metrics while guiding day-to-day care.

You will lead staffing and budget planning, mentor nursing personnel, and ensure adherence to ANA standards and Health System

Qualifications

• BSN from NLN-approved nursing program.
• 5 years of experience as a registered nurse with 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Current Texas RN license upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Medical Director, faculty, staff to meet health system objectives on productivity, access, quality, and patient experience.
• Manages daily clinical operations in accordance with Health System policies and guidelines.
• Defines and develops roles for licensed nursing personnel and technologists involved in ambulatory patient care.
• Oversees staffing, hiring, orientation, and performance coaching to ensure service excellence.
• Provides direct patient care or serves as charge as needed and supports staff development.
