Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center Hematology – Lexington seeks an Ambulatory Oncology Nurse Manager to lead its hospital-based clinic. This leader guides the outpatient oncology team clinically and operationally, managing daily nursing operations, staffing, clinical workflows, teammate development, and quality and regulatory compliance to ensure safe, patient-centered care.

Partnering with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams, the manager promotes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Five years' nursing experience preferred.
• Ambulatory experience preferred.
• Previous management or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff, hiring, orientation, performance management, and professional development.
• Ensures care aligns with Patient and Family promise and maintains privacy and confidentiality.
• Maintains compliance with DFS, CMS, TJC, and nursing standards; collaborates on action plans.
• Provides leadership to meet goals through standards of performance and evidence-based practice.
• Coordinates with clinics and service lines to provide consistent, excellent patient care.
• Participates in budget planning and monitors workload against benchmarks.
• Develops and implements QI programs to improve patient care and outcomes.
• Maintains competency for point-of-care testing as assigned.
