Job summary

UCSF Health seeks a Practice Manager to oversee daily operational, administrative, and human resources functions for Women’s Health OB/GYN services across Mount Zion and affiliated campuses. You will coordinate staffing, patient access, and care team models while partnering with Administrative Directors to ensure continuity of care and service integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience required.
• Clinic/center management experience with scheduling, customer-service methods, incident reporting, regulatory compliance, accreditation requirements, and information technology.
• Proven ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, and delegate work efficiently.
• Demonstrated HR management knowledge, budgeting, quality improvement, and program planning.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications to influence staff.
• Knowledge of healthcare IT, billing systems, and patient care workflows.
• Understanding of regulatory, accreditation, licensing, and compliance environments.

Responsibilities

• Manages clinical and operational functions and staff; allocates resources to optimize service delivery.
• Promotes a workplace culture focused on patient service standards and engagement.
• Implements processes to ensure viability of programs, staffing patterns, and productivity.
• Leads facilities planning, expansion, and space optimization; coordinates with Facilities/EHS.
• Oversees recruitment, onboarding, coaching, performance evaluation, and labor relations at local level.
• Develops internal policies to identify and mitigate risk in practice operations, billing and cash handling.
• Implements financial processes for clinic performance, revenue trends, and reimbursement.
