University of Alabama at Birmingham is seeking a Nursing Supervisor for Primary Care at Cooper Green. Leads daily clinic operations, directs clinical duties, and ensures compliance with regulations. Requires RN licensure in Alabama and current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities include on-call supervision, improving clinic flow, and contributing to quality improvement and budgeting processes within ambulatory services.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of related nursing experience.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Alabama RN license is required. ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the designated on-call nursing supervisor, providing clinical, operational, and administrative leadership during assigned on-call periods.
• Evaluates and improves clinic flow; oversees the day-to-day clinic operations of designated clinics/departments.
• Collaborates with and provides administrative support to Ambulatory Services leadership.
• Responsible for creating, evaluating, leading, and supervising role-specific duties for clinic/department staff.
• Participates in quality improvement projects, gathers and reports QI data and audits to senior leadership.
• Assists in budgeting within the responsible area and monitors budget variances.
• Other duties as assigned.
