• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nursing Program is required.
• Currently licensed or licensed by endorsement as an RN by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification via the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
• Two (2) years of clinical nursing experience required. One (1) year of clinical nursing experience in same clinic specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in providing nursing care; stocks exam rooms and sets up rooms per provider orders.
• Accurately takes and records patient vitals and performs EKGs, urine tests, pregnancy tests, or other point of care tasks.
• Documents health history data, reviews EHR updates, and records medications and allergies.
• Administers medications as ordered and provides patient education per protocol.
• Performs chart reviews, monitors patient outcomes, and participates in medication reviews with the team.
