Job summary

Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital is seeking a Clinical Practice Nurse Leader to guide ambulatory practices, coordinate onboarding, and advance staff education in alignment with NM standards.

The role requires an Illinois RN license, a MSN or BSN with a related master's, and at least 5 years of RN experience, plus BLS. Frequent travel to NM locations is expected, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within the NM system.

Qualifications

• Current license as a Registered Nurse - State of Illinois Professional Nurse.
• MSN or BSN with Master's degree in a related discipline; candidates in Master's program considered.
• Minimum 5 years of RN clinical experience.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (AHA) certification.
• Strong verbal/written communication, multi-tasking, organization and critical thinking skills.
• Frequent travel to NM locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a clinical resource to ambulatory practices.
• Collaborates with team, practice leadership and system partners to reinforce initiatives.
• Supports onboarding programs and educational initiatives for Clinical Practice team.
• Conducts onboarding training and validates competencies for leaders and staff.
• Develops onboarding materials and training schedules with SMEs.
• Delivers ongoing training to align with care standards and goals.
• Supports programs for professional development and continuing education.
• Identifies training needs with leadership and implements development initiatives.
• Uses evidence-based practices to ensure compliance with goals.
• Helps integrate new ambulatory practices and reinforce standards onsite/virtually.
• Maintains visibility across practices to understand training needs.
• Responds promptly to inquiries and keeps inbox organized.
