The position requires RN licensure, a Bachelor’s degree, and a Master’s degree preferred, with 5+ years of healthcare leadership experience and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the appropriate state.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Master’s degree in nursing, business administration, or healthcare administration preferred.
• Minimum of five years experience in a related field and/or healthcare facility.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for nursing practice oversight by organizing and leading the delivery of nursing care for designated patient care areas.
• Analyze clinical practice and identify opportunities to increase quality, safety, effectiveness, and efficiency within Primary and Specialty Care.
• Identify clinical indicators to measure, evaluate, and improve care.
• Maintain compliance with all clinical policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Supervision of registered nurses and other healthcare providers who deliver nursing care.
• Provide an experience and environment of patient- and family-centered care.
• Interpret the impact of broad-scope organizational change for staff and develops change strategies.
• Develop and manage operational initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Prepare and deliver reports to operational leadership outlining progress toward meeting annual goals and objectives.
• Establish annual operating and capital budget and monitor financial performance.
