EvergreenHealth is seeking a Director of Ambulatory Nursing Services to provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership across hospital-based outpatient clinics. You will partner with physicians, executive leaders, and inter-disciplinary teams to advance quality, patient experience, workforce engagement, and organizational growth.

Qualifications

• BSN is required; MSN or related master’s degree if BSN.
• Licensed RN in WA or valid multistate license.
• Minimum 5 years of ambulatory care management experience.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS by start date.
• Strong organizational, planning, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic priorities with executive leadership and physicians to align with organizational goals.
• Direct operational activities to ensure quality, safety, service, and performance objectives in nursing services.
• Lead the vision and direction for designated patient care departments, including program development and evaluation.
• Mentor and evaluate nursing leaders; manage workforce planning and professional growth.
• Oversee Performance Improvement, Quality Assurance, and High Reliability initiatives using data-driven methods.
• Lead organizational change, workflow optimization, and operational improvements to meet evolving needs.
• Direct budgeting, staffing, capacity, and resource planning to support fiscal stewardship and growth.
• Build partnerships with physicians, clinical leaders, and stakeholders to advance strategic priorities.
• Promote a customer-centered culture focused on exceptional patient and family experiences.
