CHP Berkshires in Massachusetts is seeking a Registered Nurse to triage patients by phone or in person and support physicians in a busy ambulatory clinic.

You will educate patients, coordinate referrals, and help maintain smooth patient flow while adhering to CHP policies and quality standards.

The role emphasizes compassionate, team‑oriented care in a community health setting and offers opportunities to contribute to population health initiatives.

Qualificações

• An RN/BSN from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of three years' ambulatory/outpatient experience preferred.
• Electronic medical records experience is required; Athena experience is a plus.
• Licensed as an RN by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Responsabilidades

• Triage patients by telephone or walk-in to determine urgency and level of care.
• Assist in supervising clinical support staff under the guidance of CHP Physicians.
• Provide patient education during visits and after procedures, both written and verbal.
• Make and coordinate patient appointments and referrals for ancillary services.
• Respond to patient emergencies within the RN scope of practice.
• Support physicians during procedures and manage charting and lab results.
