Job summary
Greater Lawrence Family Health Center seeks a Clinical Educator to advance nursing education and competency development across ambulatory care sites. You will lead training initiatives, coordinate onboarding, and partner with nursing leadership to enhance patient care quality.
The role includes mentoring nurses and medical assistants, ensuring preceptor programs reflect evidence-based practice, and supporting leadership development in the nursing division.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5-7 years practicing in acute care, ambulatory care, health center, or similar settings.
- Minimum 2 years in a training/education role in healthcare, targeting nursing staff and MAs.
- Experience with staff development, orientation, and onboarding as directed by nursing leadership.
- Bilingual English/Spanish desirable but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plans, implements and evaluates training and competency development initiatives.
- Set forth an annual plan for safe, high quality patient care and training needs.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to design training content.
- Design and evaluate new staff orientation and onboarding programs.
