Job summary

Gundersen Health System's Emplify Health division seeks a full-time RN, Professional Development Nurse (Nurse Educator) to advance nursing education across ambulatory care departments in the Coulee region. The role includes on-site and selected affiliate locations with occasional travel to Onalaska and La Crosse for meetings and classes.

The successful candidate will have a BSN, plan for a MSN within five years, and 3–4 years of RN experience, preferably in ambulatory care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Master’s degree in Nursing required within 5 years.
• 3–4 years of RN experience or equivalent required; ambulatory care RN experience preferred.
• RN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill a 1.0 FTE, salaried role.
• Support orientation and onboarding of new staff.
• Evaluate nursing practice, assess gaps, identify learning needs, and participate in process improvement projects.
• Serve the Tomah and Sparta primary care clinics; travel to affiliate locations as needed.
