Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is seeking Ambulatory Staff Nurses to provide direct patient care in outpatient clinics. Nurses will conduct telephone triage, assess symptoms, and guide patients to appropriate levels of care while documenting plans in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered nurse licensed in Massachusetts.
• Experience delivering ambulatory care and triage is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Develop comprehensive discharge plans and coordinate with care teams.
• Administer medications safely and document interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, mid-levels and other care professionals to ensure quality care.
• Maintain safe care environments and adhere to infection control practices.
