South Central Primary Care Inc. is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support primary care in an ambulatory setting. You will interview patients, record histories, measure vital signs, collect specimens, and perform CLIA-waived tests under physician supervision.

The role requires completing an accredited CMA program, active certification, BLS, and at least 2 years of outpatient experience. Willingness to work collaboratively with the care team is essential.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program.
• Must hold current medical assistant certification.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient/ambulatory setting.
• BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of medical procedures, patient education and health practice.
• Excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills.
• Excellent phone etiquette.

Mansioni

• Interview patients and record medical histories; measure vital signs.
• Collect and document lab samples and perform CLIA-waived tests.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist with procedures.
• Administer medications and injections as ordered.
• Maintain patient charts and assist with documentation.
