South Central Primary Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to join an ambulatory care team. You will perform administrative and clinical duties under physician supervision, assist nurses and providers, and help prepare examination rooms and patient charts.

The position requires basic medical knowledge, strong organization, and customer service focus. Eligibility includes graduation from an accredited MA program, current MA certification, and BLS.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program
• Current medical assistant certification
• BLS certification
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient/ambulatory setting
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of medical procedures related to patient education

Mansioni

• Interview patients, record history, and measure vital signs
• Collect and document lab tests and specimen collection
• Assist provider with exams and procedures
• Prepare charts and exam rooms, sterilize instruments
• Administer medications and injections as ordered
• Dismiss patients at end of visit
• Participate in orientation and team meetings
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and compliance
