Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a Medical Assistant Training Coordinator to lead education for medical assistants and other non-licensed ambulatory staff. You will work with clinical leadership to enhance patient safety and care quality through targeted training programs.

You will design, implement, and evaluate educational activities in alignment with corporate programs and partner with Ambulatory NPDs to ensure competency and regulatory compliance across clinics.

Qualifications

• Current MA-C with Washington State license.
• 4 years of Clinic/Ambulatory practice.
• 1–2 years of staff development, academic teaching or project development coordination preferred.
• Previous experience as supervisor or lead in a clinic setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate medical assistant and non-licensed ambulatory staff education.
• Collaborate with Ambulatory NPDs, clinical directors and leaders to enhance patient safety and care quality.
• Be the go-to contact for non-licensed ambulatory training programs across MultiCare.
