Mayo Clinic in Baldwin Building, Minnesota, seeks a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for ambulatory care in Rx/CSA. The LPN provides nursing care under supervision, collects data, and communicates with the team to meet patient needs per the care plan.

Qualifications

Graduate of a school of practical nursing or passed LPN Boards after a defined period in a professional nursing program.
Current LPN license by applicable state requirements.
One year LPN experience within the last five years preferred.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Computer skills and experience with electronic medical records preferred.
Ability to work daytime hours and adapt to changing staffing needs.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to assigned patients under supervision and accepts delegation from RN or supervisor.
Collect data through observation and communicate information to assist in patient assessment and care planning.
Deliver care in accordance with the patient care plan and organizational policies.
