Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking an LPN for ambulatory care in the Baldwin Building, Rx/CSA. The part-time position supports nursing care under supervision and collaborates with the health care team to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities include data collection, care planning, and following patient care plans with strong communication. BLS certification and practical nursing license required; daytime hours with potential staffing flexibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of practical nursing; LPN Boards certification.
• One year LPN experience within the last five years preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to work daytime hours; flexibility may be required.
• Computer skills; familiarity with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• The LPN provides nursing care to assigned patients under supervision of the RN or supervisor and accepts delegation to meet patient needs.
• Participates as a member of the health care team and contributes to care planning.
• Delivers care in accordance with patient care plans, policies, and procedures of Mayo Clinic.
• Maintains effective communication with the care team and patients and families.
