Qualifikationen

• Board-certified NP or PA with surgical experience.
• Ability to independently manage complex surgical patients.
• Ambulatory specialty care and post-operative surveillance experience preferred.
• Strong documentation and productivity standards.

Aufgaben

• Provide autonomous outpatient management for post-operative patients, surveillance populations, and patients requiring complex wound or ostomy care.
• Conduct histories and physical examinations, perform ongoing clinical assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide continued patient education and support.
• Provide education and longitudinal support to help patients navigate their ongoing surgical care.
• Partner closely with surgeons and interdisciplinary team members to optimize perioperative care and manage complex patient needs.
• Coordinate transitions across care settings and serve as an advocate for patients throughout their care journey.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, workflow development, and process improvement efforts.
