Job summary

Novant Health Medical Group in Wilmington, NC seeks a conscientious Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join a growing Gastroenterology practice of 9 physicians and 11 APPs. The APP will provide ambulatory care, participate in patient rounds, and support complex GI patient management under physician supervision.

Gastroenterology experience is preferred; one year of APP experience preferred. Requirements include a Master's degree and state PA/NP licensure with NCCPA or state nursing board

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; PA or NP program accredited.
• One year of Gastroenterology experience preferred.
• Current PA or NP license in appropriate state; NCCPA or registry with state nursing board, ACLS, DEA registry required.
• Ability to complete skills validation and competency testing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the most remarkable patient experience in clinic and during rounds.
• See patients in the clinic setting and participate in team-based care with physicians, APPs and surgeons.
• Collaborate with gastroenterology team to manage patients with complex GI needs.
