Job summary

Shriner's Children's Hospital seeks an Epic Application Analyst, Ambulatory to design, build, test, implement, and support information technology solutions for clinical and operational needs. The role collaborates with stakeholders to document requirements and ensure effective communication for changes.

Required Epic Certification in Ambulatory; Order Transmittal certification preferred and must be obtained on hire.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a medical setting.
• BA/BS Degree or 5 years of equivalent clinical or information services experience.
• Epic Certification in Ambulatory is required; Epic Certification in Order Transmittal is preferred and would be required to obtain following hire.
• Off hours work and participation in on-call rotation are required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, implement, and support Epic solutions to meet operational, technical, and clinical needs.
• Collaborate with customers to document requirements and communicate effectively with customers and peers to implement changes.
• Review assigned portions of business or clinical operations to identify information system needs; define processes, problems, and requirements; perform cost/benefit analyses.
• Perform design and analysis of clinical and business information systems to meet clients' needs.
