Job summary

Shriners Children’s is seeking an Epic Application Analyst, Ambulatory to design, build, test, implement, and support IT solutions for ambulatory operations. You will collaborate with customers to document requirements and communicate changes to stakeholders.

Responsibilities include reviewing clinical operations, defining processes, and performing cost/benefit analyses to meet client needs while supporting Epic systems in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a medical setting.
• BA/BS Degree - or 5 years of equivalent clinical or information services experience.
• Must hold current Epic Certification in Ambulatory.
• Epic Certification in Order Transmittal preferred and would be required to obtain following hire.
• Off hours work and participation in on-call rotation are required.

• Reviewing assigned portions of business or clinical operations to identify clients’ information system’s needs
• Defining processes, problems and requirements; performing cost/benefit analyses
• Performing assignments for the design and analysis of clinical and business information systems to meet clients' needs
