Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Interviews and registers patients for Emergency/Trauma or Ambulatory treatment, collecting demographic and insurance data.
• Discusses balances, assists with welfare eligibility, and arranges payment terms or deposits.
• Registers patients online, posts payments, and prepares bank deposits for daily pickup.
• Verifies third-party plan numbers, handles authorizations, and initiates insurance claims.
• Communicates with Senior Patient Advocate about uninsured patients and free services when applicable.
