Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a part-time Ambulatory Clinical Technician (ACT) at the Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion in Grand Rapids, MI. The role supports infusion services, welcomes patients, and performs vitals and routine assessments under RN/Provider supervision.

You will help with patient comfort, documentation, and coordinating care during day shifts. Flexibility for schedule, 20 hours weekly, with a 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. window on assigned days.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA or ARC 90 Days required.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN/Provider in delivering patient care and room patients.
• Obtain vital signs and complete preventative care assessments.
• Document accurately and timely per department guidelines.
• Communicate observations to health care team.

About The Unit

The Outpatient Infusion Center at Lemmen Holton Cancer Pavilion provides cancer treatments to patient with a malignant diagnosis. The Ambulatory Clinical Technician (ACT) works by the direction of the infusion nurses to welcome and room patients, obtain vital signs, complete preventative care assessments, and provide comfort items to patients and visitors.

Scope of Work

Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider. Performs basic skills per department guidelines and communicates observations to members of the health care team. Collects and reports physiological, psychological, sociocultural and spiritual needs of patients and families in coordination with and as delineated by the RN or Provider. Ensures that required documentation is performed in an accurate and timely manner.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required
