Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Clinical Manager Ambulatory RN for the OBGYN Shared PPMC MAPS site at 3737 Market Street. The position is 60% administrative and 40% clinical, overseeing daily operations for Gynecology, Urogynecology, and Complex Family Planning, while supporting a multispecialty nurse team.

The candidate will ensure regulatory compliance, quality and patient satisfaction, staff development, and engagement, with a potential hybrid schedule when feasible.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse - PA (Required)
• Bachelor of Science (Required)
• 5+ years total clinical experience including RN and prior leadership experience
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required) ACLS or PALS (Required)

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations for a multispecialty care site and ensure quality patient care.
• Engage staff, improve satisfaction, and communicate effectively with the team.
• Establish and update work processes and practices.
• Manage team performance aligned with Penn Medicine's service excellence vision.
• Oversee staff development, recruitment, and retention initiatives.
• Oversee clinical operations including budgeting (where applicable), project management, strategic planning, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure patient care delivery is seamless with high quality care and service.
• Foster proactive communication and problem solving within the team.
• Establish performance expectations to drive high team achievement.
• Leverage Penn Medicine research and competency development to advance learning.
