Corewell Health's Lake Drive Care Center in Grand Rapids is hiring for a Full-time team member to support Internal Medicine with day shifts, 6:30am–5:00pm, 40 hours weekly. The role blends clinical patient care under supervision with clerical tasks and billing-related support, in a value-driven health care setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, EHR or related support.

About Outpatient Clinics

Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.

Scope of Work

This team member will serve in a clinical and clerical role. The team member delivers quality patient care under the supervision of a therapist, rehabilitation management, Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider; they also provide clerical support in complex matters to assist in the delivery of value-driven health care services. Performs activities per department guidelines and communicates observations to members of the health care team. Performs maintenance and cleaning duties related to the operations of the department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent or GED, vocational training, related classes or relevant experience.
• 2 years of relevant experience Insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support or other related experience.

Preferred

• 2 years of relevant experience
• Clinical Care
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required
