The pediatric ophthalmology program provides specialized care for children with vision problems or diseases of the eye. We also care for adults with double vision or misalignment of the eyes. Our comprehensive approach includes diagnosis, optometrist or orthoptic assessment and treatment, medical treatment, and surgical interventions for all pediatric eye disorders. Our team includes certified ophthalmic technicians, orthoptists, pediatric optometrists, pediatric ophthalmologists, opticians, and social workers. We are actively involved in research with the Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group (PEDIG), funded by the NIH.
Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, offering diverse primary care and specialty practices, providing opportunities to learn or specialize.
Acts as a team member in delivering quality patient care under supervision, performing basic skills, and communicating observations to the healthcare team.
Primary Location: SITE - 35 Michigan St - Grand Rapids
Department: Ophthalmology - HDVCH
Type: Full-time, Day shift, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
