Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking an Ambulatory Clinic Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across outpatient settings. The RN will use the full nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—in collaboration with providers and the interdisciplinary team.

The role requires strong clinical judgment, ability to work independently and within a team to support patients with acute needs, chronic conditions, and preventive health goals.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license and current BLS.
• Associates Degree in Nursing.
• Ambulatory or inpatient care experience preferred.
• ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient care with physician support and prepare exam rooms and patient materials.
• Record accurate data into EMR, update medical history, and manage lab results.
• Educate patients, obtain consent forms, and coordinate tests and procedures.
• Assist with scheduling, prescription refills, and communication of results to patients.
• Adhere to safety, privacy, and quality initiatives across the care continuum.
