Job summary

Novant Health in Rural Hall, NC, invites an RN Ambulatory Specialty Nurse to join the Family Med Clinic. This full-time, M-F 8am-5pm outpatient role focuses on delivering exceptional care in a dynamic specialty setting.

You’ll triage patients, coordinate with providers, and educate on follow-up plans while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to improve outpatient outcomes. Strong communication and clinical skills are required; ongoing education and credentialing are supported.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina
• Experience in ambulatory or specialty nursing preferred
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; reinstatement rules apply if inactive

Responsibilities

• Triage of patients
• Assess patient concerns, prioritize care needs, coordinate with providers for timely interventions
• Provide instructions, support recovery, ensure follow-up care plans
• Conduct direct patient care, administer treatments, monitor progress
• Provide expert nursing care in ambulatory specialty clinics with interdisciplinary collaboration
• Educate patients on managing their health conditions and navigating specialty care services
