Job summary

Inova Health System’s Medical House Calls Program is seeking a Clinical Ambulatory Manager to lead day-to-day operations on a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule (8:00am–5:00pm). The role emphasizes collaboration with leadership, staff oversight, and ensuring patient access and service quality across outpatient settings.

The ideal candidate has advanced clinical leadership experience, relevant licensure, and a track record of managing ambulatory operations while maintaining compliance and driving

Qualifications

• Education: BSN, MSW, MHA or related Bachelor's Degree (or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree).
• Licensure: If BSN, licensed as Registered Nurse in Virginia. If PharmD or LCSW, related licensure.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the Director of Outpatient Practices to resolve issues within deadlines.
• Coordinates Provider office schedules and monitors patient volumes and access.
• Ensures regulatory compliance with federal/state authorities and external bodies.
• Oversees front-end Revenue Cycle functions to ensure compliant practices.
• Partners with Revenue Cycle/Medical Records to identify financial improvement opportunities.
• Oversees Outpatient Practice operations, including hiring, training, and strategy execution.
