Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English and follow instructions.
• Understanding of human anatomy sufficient to perform job duties.
• Basic knowledge of math.
• Additional formal training may substitute some or all stated experience.

Responsibilities

• Completes the rooming process including vitals, intake questions and reports abnormal findings.
• Collects patient specimens and performs Point of Care Testing.
• Prepares patients for exams and assists with procedures using sterile technique.
• Assists with EKG, Holter monitor, pulse oximetry, screening, and disinfection.
• Performs basic patient treatments and wound care under LIP direction.
• Documents in the electronic health record and manages care gaps.
• Sets up/closes clinic, stocks supplies, and maintains clean work areas.
• Participates in safety audits and collaborates with healthcare team.
