CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover Hills is seeking an experienced patient scheduling clerk to support ambulatory services. The role involves coordinating appointments, tests, and procedures across multiple providers while assisting patients with financial counseling and insurance questions.

The ideal candidate will have a year of customer service experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with office software. This position is on site, Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer and direct calls from patients and physician offices.
• Schedule patients for treatments and tests with multiple providers.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information.
• Collect co-pays and obtain consent signatures if applicable.
• Coordinate with insurers for pre-authorizations when needed.
