Job summary

You will supervise RN, LPN, MA, and support staff, assign coverage, and participate in budgeting and policy development in collaboration with the Practice Manager and Medical Director.

The role emphasizes clinical nursing assessment, direct patient care, and collaboration with other health care providers and services.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing and hold RN licensure.
• Three years of ambulatory care or hospital RN experience with leadership abilities.
• Supervisory experience or formal supervisory training preferred.
• CPR certification required or obtained within the first month of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate clinical staff (RN, LPN, MA, tech, CCA).
• Coordinate daily practice activities and ensure staffing coverage.
• Provide clinical nursing assessment, support, counseling, and direct patient care.
• Collaborate with other health care providers and ancillary services.
• Develop and implement practice policies, protocols, and critical pathways.
• Assist with budget development and monitor fiscal compliance.
• Supervise staff under the Practice Manager and Medical Director.
• May float to other UFHP practices as needed.
