Job summary

UF Health in Gainesville seeks a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centric care in a physician office setting. You will perform nursing assessments, educate patients, and assist with case management or specialized procedures.

Collaborating with physicians and staff, you will direct clinical activities and ensure compliance with policies. A Florida RN license and BLS are required; at least 1–2 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current licensure by the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse.
• Basic Life Support certification required or obtained within the first month of employment.
• One year of specialty experience or two years of ambulatory care or hospital-based experience preferred.
• Excellent patient/customer service skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centric care in a physician office setting.
• Conduct clinical nursing assessments and patient education.
• Perform patient case management or specialized procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and health care staff to coordinate care.
• Direct clinical staff and ensure compliance with institutional policies.
• May float to other UFHP practices for staffing as required.
