Qualifications

• Current RN license by state or multi-state RN license via eNLC.
• Must obtain permanent RN license within 90 days of graduation.
• OH: Ohio nurses must be licensed.
• PA: PA RN Temporary Permit; permanent licensure within 1 year of graduation.
• WV: WV Grad Permit; permanent licensure within 180 days of graduation.
• Obtain Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in ambulatory setting, based on the nursing process.
• Performs preliminary assessment of patients through observation and chart review.
• Evaluates unstable or complex patient care situations and facilitates intervention.
• Uses independent nursing judgment for care provided by self and by health care providers.
• Mentors and educates patients and families with health care needs.
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities.
