Baptist Health in Alabama is seeking an experienced RN to provide advanced care in the Cardiac ICU with ECMO support. The role involves high-acuity patient management, coordination with the medical team, and ensuring adherence to ICU protocols.

Ideal candidates hold an Alabama RN license, BLS/ACLS/NRP/PNLS certifications, and have critical care experience, especially with ECMO systems and invasive monitoring. This position offers day-to-day responsibilities in a dynamic cardiac care unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Baptist Health and unit/department.
• 1 year experience required unless approved by AVP level or above.
• Maintains current State of Alabama RN license.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates advanced nursing knowledge to care for high-acuity patients with complex needs.
• Uses data to anticipate and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions.
• Develops and revises individualized plans of care.
• Operates and monitors ECMO equipment and related critical care devices.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for care planning.
• Maintains patient safety and documents care accurately and timely.
