Job summary

Damian Family Care Centers, Inc. is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our ambulatory care team in New York. You will provide comprehensive nursing care, coordinate patient activities with the care team, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate is a NY-licensed RN with BLS and infection control certificates, at least 1 year of staff nursing experience, and the ability to work independently and with a diverse patient population. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in New York State.
• BLS and infection control certificates required.
• Minimum 1 year as staff nurse; ambulatory care preferred.
• Experience phlebotomy is preferred.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in EMR documentation and MS Word.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in accordance with federal, state, local laws and practice acts.
• Coordinate, implement, evaluate, and direct patient care activities with the health care team.
• Support the mission and philosophy of Damian Family Care Centers, Inc.
• Perform assessments and data collection focused on patient needs and standards of care.
• Collaborate with medical providers to plan timely interventions.
