Job summary

PVH Potomac Valley Hospital is seeking an experienced healthcare leader to manage patient care delivery and operations in a hospital setting. You will drive quality, staff development and regulatory compliance while partnering with the Medical Director to meet program goals.

Responsibilities include budgeting, policy development and coordinating clinical services to ensure excellent patient outcomes and cost-effective care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or high school diploma with 3 years healthcare experience.
• Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.
• State criminal background check and Federal background check as required for regulated areas.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, implements and evaluates the delivery of patient care in accordance with policy and procedures.
• Develops, implements and supports strategies for the delivery of quality patient care based on service requirements and mission.
• Ensures staff provides quality, effective care and monitors compliance with policies and standards.
• Collaborates with Medical Director to ensure program goals are established and achieved.
• Responsible for coordination, organization and delegation of operational aspects of the department.
• Supervises and evaluates employees, promotes teamwork and professional development.
• Manages department budget and resources to ensure cost-effective staffing and service levels.
• Ensures compliance with CLIA, OSHA, Medicare and other regulations.
