Job summary

Kheir Clinic in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Nursing Supervisor (LVN) to oversee daily health-center operations, coordinate workflow, and ensure safe patient care under the Clinic Manager. You will supervise back-office staff, hire and train Medical Assistants, and support providers with EHR updates and clinical protocols.

The role requires 5+ years LVN experience, 3+ years of leadership, and bilingual English/Korean proficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of LVN experience.
• 3+ years of leadership/supervisory experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Discretion and sensitivity when interacting with patients.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Community clinic experience is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Korean.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health center compliance with performance metrics.
• Lead back-office workflow for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Model quality patient care in daily operations.
• Ensure back-office staff follow PCMH policies.
• Participate in QI/QA projects and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with onsite leadership to address patient needs or complaints.
• Report significant clinical findings to providers as needed.
• Oversee hiring, counseling, evaluating, and terminating Medical Assistants.
• Lead ongoing MA training from orientation to updates of EHR and procedures.
• Assist providers and MAs in exam/procedure rooms as needed.
• Schedule back-office MA staff to cover absences and breaks.
• Provide feedback for corrective actions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
