Job summary

Life Ambulance Network is seeking a Vehicle Service Technician to ensure ambulances are ready for field crews, with clean interiors, stocked shelves, and fully functioning equipment. The role emphasizes punctuality, professional appearance, and coordination between departments to minimize downtime.

The VST will perform inventory checks, restock supplies, and conduct routine mechanical checks, while maintaining a neat workspace and reporting any breakdowns for repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work under time constraints.
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle inventory check and restock supplies.
• Clean ambulances inside and outside.
• Restock ambulance supplies daily.
• Perform mechanical checks and report breakdowns.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
• Requisition supplies for replacement.
• Inform Supervisor of equipment failures for repair.
• Coordinate with fleet maintenance to reallocate ambulances as needed.
• Document condition of ambulances and schedule readiness for shifts.
• Respond to daily calls to support coordination between departments.
• Maintain punctual attendance and adhere to company policies.
