Job summary

AmeriPro Health is seeking a Vehicle Service Technician to ensure ambulances and response vehicles are clean, stocked, safe, and in proper working condition. The role supports daily operations by performing routine maintenance, inventory management, and coordination with the Logistics Supervisor for repairs.

The position emphasizes readiness, equipment checks, and adherence to company policies and state regulations, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• EMT certification and valid BLS certification are required.
• Valid State driver's license and clean driving record are required.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and restock ambulances and response vehicles after each transport or shift.
• Perform mechanical checks on vehicles and inspect lights, fluids, tires, and equipment.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment for readiness; report deficiencies.
• Manage vehicle inventory and requisition supplies as needed.
• Ensure monitor batteries are cycled and documented appropriately.
• Complete documentation and inspection logs accurately and timely.
• Transport vehicles to service facilities when required, and assist field crews as needed.

Education

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification

Current CPR: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
