Job summary

Northwest Ambulance is seeking detail-oriented team members for our Support Services department. The VST role supports organizational operations by managing uniforms, inventory, and fleet readiness, ensuring stock, cleanliness, and readiness for mission requirements.

The role emphasizes organization, a fast-paced environment, and collaboration with field staff and vendors to maintain high service levels and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with supply chain/inventory is preferred.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement of uniforms and supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stockroom.
• Monitor supply levels and anticipate future needs.
• Negotiate pricing and contracts with vendors.
• Inspect incoming shipments for quality and accuracy.
• Distribute supplies to field staff and stations.
• Provide training and support on supply management.
• Clean and stock ambulances with equipment and supplies.
• Inspect medical equipment and perform light maintenance.
• Refuel and transport ambulances as needed.
• Communicate status to logistics supervisor and track repairs.
• Ensure compliance with regulations.
