Job summary

AMR in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Vehicle Service Technician (VST) to ensure ambulances are serviced, stocked, and ready for response. This full-time role supports safe patient transport and high-quality care.

Candidates should have a state driver’s license, a high school diploma or GED, and a clean driving record. Preference for healthcare experience; you will perform routine vehicle maintenance, inventory checks and collaborate with crews and Fleet Manager.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ambulances are fully stocked, safely maintained and ready to provide transportation services.
• Maintain a safe and clean vehicle environment for the crew and the patients.
• Manage daily vehicle inventory checks and update the equipment tracking log.
• Run regular mechanical checks including oil, washer fluid and batteries, and report issues to the Fleet Manager.
• Document information clearly and adhere to company policies and security standards.
• Coordinate with departments, crews and other vehicle service techs.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and operations team.
