Mercy Health System is seeking a full-time EMT at Mercy Springfield to provide direct patient care, assess patients, perform basic life support, and support EMS operations. The role may include clerical, dispatch, and maintenance tasks, with possible varying shifts.

A state EMT license and valid driver’s license are required, with certifications to be completed within 90 days of hire. A sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• EMT license for the state of employment and valid driver's license required.
• ITLS or equivalent training preferred or required within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Direct patient care including assessment, evaluation, and basic life support per Mercy standards.
• EMT-I may perform clerical, dispatch, and maintenance duties as required.
• May be required to work differing shifts and schedules.
• Maintain required licenses and certifications within 90 days of hire.
