Job summary

Mercy Springfield is seeking a full-time EMT to provide direct patient care, perform assessment, evaluation, and basic life support in alignment with Mercy Health System standards.

This 42-hour weekly position offers a sign-on bonus and requires EMT licensure in the state, Hazmat Awareness, BLS, and NIMS certifications within 90 days; applicants must be at least 19 years old and ready to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Hazmat Awareness, BLS for Healthcare Providers, NIMS 100, 200, 700 and 800 within 90 days of hire.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• ITLS or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessment and basic life support.
• Support EMS operations and maintain equipment.
