Job summary

Mercy Health System in Springfield is seeking an EMT to provide direct patient care including assessment, evaluation, and basic life support. This is a full-time role with 42 hours per week and a sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• EMT license for the state where employed, valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 19 years old to operate Mercy EMS vehicles.
• Hazmat Awareness, BLS for Healthcare Providers, NIMS 100/200/700/800 within 90 days of hire.
• May be required to work differing shifts and schedules.
• Pre-hire and annual fitness for duty tests.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care including assessment, evaluation and basic life support.
• EMT-I may perform clerical, dispatch, and maintenance duties as required.
