Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in North Carolina seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations, training, scheduling, and performance management. You will oversee inventory, food safety, and guest issues while supporting the Managing Partner to drive growth and protect the brand.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of AGМ experience in food service or retail, are 18+, and can close the restaurant at least two nights weekly.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as an Assistant General Manager in food service or retail, with profit and loss responsibility (quick service experience preferred).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations while upholding Sonic standards and policies.
• Support the Managing Partner by leading the team in training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Manage inventory, ensure food safety compliance, and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Oversee financial responsibilities, including cash handling and expense control.
• Partner with the Managing Partner to drive growth initiatives and protect Sonic’s brand reputation.
