Job summary

Sesame Place is hiring Ambassadors for a comprehensive maintenance role across the park. You will perform repairs on electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and ride-related equipment while maintaining safety standards and guest satisfaction.

A valid license and the ability to obtain operator certifications within one year are required. The position requires a strong work ethic, ability to work weekends and holidays, and proficiency in English.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required; trade-school education preferred.
• Ability to obtain AIMS/NAARSO (Level 1) certification within one year.
• Ability to obtain Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatics Facility Operator (AFO) within one year.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to provide DMV report.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Strong customer service orientation and guest interaction skills.
• Working knowledge of building codes and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to operate mechanical devices and obtain operating certifications within 90 days.
• Comfort with safety procedures, water quality, and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks across the facility including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and equipment repair.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, devices, and automated systems; monitor and service slides and attractions.
• Maintain safety, environmental compliance, and asset documentation; discharge hazardous waste per policy.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment (multimeter, drills, saws, hand tools).
• Assist other locations/departments as needed in a fast-paced park environment.
