Job summary

Sesame Place in Langhorne, PA is seeking an Ambassadors/Maintenance Supervisor to lead safety and daily operations, overseeing inspections and coordinating with full-time staff on maintenance projects to keep rides and facilities running smoothly. The role requires a high school diploma, 3+ years in maintenance management, supervisory experience, and certifications (State Park Safety Inspector, Pool Operator).

A flexible schedule and ability to work outdoors are essential.

Qualifications

• High school, trade or vocational school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance management experience, preferably in a theme park setting.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Must pass Level II-State Park Safety Inspector Certification upon employment.
• Must pass Pool Operator Certification upon employment.
• Ability to understand operation of amusement rides from simple start/stop circuits to PLC controllers.
• Must obtain Certified Pesticide License for pools (CPA) within one year.
• Ability to operate machinery including forklift and man-lift.
• Familiar with tools of trade: VOM, conduit bender, megger.
• Self-motivated team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Physically able to climb stairs on tall towers, lift up to 50 lbs, and endure outdoor work in all weather.
• Possess a valid state license.
• Able to complete all required trainings on time.

Responsibilities

• Oversee workload distribution and daily operations.
• Lead full-time staff during in-house projects.
• Assist with development of competency-based training for maintenance staff.
• Ensure safe, quality operations of rides and facilities.
• Participate in park inspections during operating season.
• Oversee inspection documentation for the park.
• Coordinate with contractors on small projects to ensure quality.
