Job summary

Blueland is seeking an analytical Supply Chain Manager to lead marketplace inventory and planning, with a focus on Amazon. You will align forecasts with production and purchasing, working with contract manufacturers and packaging suppliers to ensure timely availability while balancing service levels and working capital.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct Amazon supply chain, inventory planning, or replenishment experience.
• Experience translating demand forecasts into production and inventory plans.
• Strong understanding of inventory management concepts: safety stock, lead times, service levels, inventory turns.

Responsibilities

• Own supply and inventory planning for Blueland’s Marketplace channel, primarily Amazon.
• Translate demand forecasts into monthly and weekly production, purchasing, and inventory deployment plans.
• Develop manufacturing plans with contract manufacturers, considering demand, capacity, lead times, MOQs, materials.
• Coordinate with the Marketplace team for Amazon-specific requirements, promotions, and events.
• Monitor Amazon inventory levels, weeks of supply, inbound inventory, sell-through, and replenishment needs.
• Develop allocation and replenishment strategies across Amazon and warehouse network.
• Manage production priorities and communicate forecasts and PO requirements to CM partners.
• Forecast material requirements and ensure packaging availability supports plans.
• Monitor material availability to identify constraints before impact.
• Manage PO issuance and inbound material tracking; escalate delays.
• Collaborate with Demand Planning, Marketplace, Finance, Logistics, and Operations.
• Support new product launches and promotions with supply plans and risk mitigation.
• Analyze forecast changes, inventory trends, and supplier constraints to adjust plans.
• Maintain planning parameters, lead times, MOQs, and data in systems.
• Drive continuous improvement across planning processes and suppliers.
• Coordinate with co-packers on build needs for pre-kitted inventory.
