Job summary

Blueland is seeking a highly analytical Demand Planner to own omnichannel forecasting and align cross‑functional teams from Sales to Finance. You will build SKU‑level forecasts for DTC, retail, and marketplaces, and translate plans into supply and inventory inputs.

You’ll lead the demand consensus process, monitor forecast accuracy, and surface risks and opportunities. This role sits in a fast‑growing consumer brand that values data‑driven decision making and collaborative problem solving.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or a related analytical role.
• Experience forecasting across multiple channels (DTC, Amazon/marketplaces, wholesale/retail).
• Strong analytical skills to turn data into clear insights and recommendations.
• Experience with large SKU datasets and maintaining data accuracy and discipline.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SKU-level demand forecasts across DTC, retail, and marketplaces with weekly/monthly horizons.
• Build forecasts using historical demand, trends, seasonality, promotions, launches, and other drivers.
• Develop forecasts for new products and channels with limited historical data.
• Identify changes in demand patterns and adjust forecasts as new information becomes available.
• Maintain baseline vs incremental demand views for promotions, launches and distribution gains.
• Support the demand consensus process with cross-functional partners and leadership.
• Translate the forecast into inputs for supply, inventory and financial planning.
• Establish KPIs and conduct forecast-accuracy analyses to improve forecasting quality.
